About Me
As a golf professional and golf coach I travelled the world many times over.
I loved to play but even more I enjoyed helping people to improve their own game.
To understand how the human being learns and works I studied physical eduacation and even research golf on a high scientific level for which I was rewarded with a PhD.
Sports psychology was of my biggest interest because all our thinking and behavior patterns determine what we can achieve finally. As the head instructor for the South African PGA I had the honor to organize the education programs for the Pros. The Golf Legend Gary Player saw my good work and hired me to develop his Gary Player Golf Academies worldwide. Via him I had the pleasure to meet not only the best golfers on this planet but also outstanding golf coaches which enhanced my experience level to become a 5* golf coach myself.
Teaching Philosophy
Great Golf Coaching needs the holistic approach. Golf is like putting a puzzle together. Depending on how many peaces you select at the beginning (goal setting) it will be a quick task or with a few thousand peaces a never ending story.
Dealing mainly with the three dimension: Mental game - Golf Technique - Fitness Level, it is our skill and expertise to find the relevant peaces missing to make you immediately a better golfer.Dr.Golf has developed Tests to have even more profound tools for a compleate analysis and long term support, all depending how good a golfer you like to become, even up to Professional level.
